Financial Lines Loss Adjuster
Job Description:
Insuro Recruitment are working with a global loss adjusting business to recruit an experienced Financial Lines Loss Adjuster to join their London team on a hybrid working basis.
We are seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster, Lawyer or Claims Adjuster with a strong background in Financial Lines, or an experienced insurance professional looking to specialise in this area.
Financial Lines Loss Adjuster – The Role
Receive, acknowledge and manage new claims in a timely and professional manner.
Undertake visits and meetings with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds and other interested parties in the UK and internationally where required.
Prepare detailed reports covering all aspects of the claim, including legal and policy liability, quantum and recommended next steps.
Instruct and manage third-party experts where required.
Maintain regular communication with all interested parties throughout the lifecycle of each assignment.
Calculate and agree claim settlements and prepare accurate final reports.
Support the continued development of the existing Financial Lines client base and identify opportunities to develop new business.
Build and maintain strong relationships and networks both internally and externally.
Identify and support Business Development and marketing opportunities within the Financial Lines market.
Assist with the training, development and mentoring of colleagues and clients where required.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the role as required by management.
Financial Lines Loss Adjuster – Requirements
Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster, Lawyer or Claims Adjuster within Financial Lines, or within another insurance class with a strong interest in developing a Financial Lines specialism.
Strong experience handling complex claims and producing detailed, high-quality reports.
Confident managing senior stakeholders and building strong relationships with clients and market contacts.
Commercially minded, with an interest in supporting business development and growing client relationships.
A commitment to continued professional development.
Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
