Property Claims Handler

Claims Account Handler – Real Estate | Chelmsford or Glasgow

Insuro Recruitment are recruiting for a Claims Account Handler to join a Real Estate team based in either Chelmsford or Glasgow. This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of UK property claims from investigation through to settlement.
• Investigate, negotiate and agree claim settlements.
• Liaise with policyholders, insurers, brokers and other stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate reports within agreed timescales.
• Review and approve contractor quotations.
• Attend client review meetings.
• Ensure accurate time recording, billing and invoicing.
• Work closely with loss adjusters where required.
• Maintain high technical, operational and data protection standards.

About You

• Experience within Real Estate or Commercial Property Claims/Loss Adjusting.
• Strong negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Highly organised with a strong focus on quality.
• Able to build effective internal and external relationships.
• Professionally qualified or working towards a relevant qualification is desirable.
